Axis ICS : Information and Communication Systems

Axis 2 ICS (Information and Communication Systems) focuses on the acquisition, transfer, processing and analysis of data. These data are generally massive, incomplete and heterogeneous. They can be acquired and transmitted through a wireless sensor network, and are stored in a database which can be distributed. They are processed and analyzed in order to identify their properties.

Axis 2 consists of two themes:

  • the theme "wireless sensor networks", dedicated to the acquisition and data transfer,
  • and the theme "data, services, intelligence", dedicated to data processing and analysis.
