How can you collaborate?

We offer several types of collaboration to companies wishing to work with LIMOS. Each form of partnership is designed to meet the specific needs of your sector and to take advantage of our advanced scientific expertise. Here are the main possibilities: 

1) Collaborative research projects: We offer collaborative research projects, often funded by public programmes such as the ANR, European or regional funds. These projects enable our researchers and your team to work together on issues specific to your sector. 

2) Private research contracts: If you have specific technical challenges, we offer you the opportunity to sign research contracts. This format allows you to benefit directly from the results of our research applied to your needs. 

3) CIFRE agreements: We can support you under CIFRE (Conventions Industrielles de Formation par la Recherche) agreements, enabling you to recruit PhD students who will work on specific issues while being trained by our researchers. 

4) Co-development of prototypes and innovations: We offer you the opportunity to co-develop prototypes and innovations with us, testing new technologies before they go into production. Our researchers will help you design practical and effective solutions for your products and services. 

5) Tailor-made training and scientific expertise: We offer training tailored to your specific needs, in key areas such as artificial intelligence, optimisation and data management. These courses are designed to help you make the most of the latest scientific advances.

Who can we work with?

We offer solutions tailored to your specific needs, whether in healthcare, mobility, industry 4.0, and much more. By working directly with our researchers on real-life use cases, you'll benefit from targeted, effective solutions. Our three areas of research: 

1) MAAD (Models and Algorithms for Decision Support): This area focuses on the modelling, algorithms and mathematical analysis of optimisation, diagnosis and learning problems.  

For example, we have worked with companies in the healthcare sector to develop machine learning algorithms aimed at improving medical diagnosis and personalising treatments. 

2) SIC (Information and Communication Systems): Our research in this area focuses on the management and analysis of large volumes of data, the interoperability of applications and wireless sensor networks.  

For example, we have worked with companies in the mobility sector to develop intelligent traffic management systems that integrate real-time data from sensors deployed in the field. 

3) ODPS (Decision Support Tools for Production and Services): This area aims to apply the tools of combinatorial optimisation and discrete-event simulation to real organisational systems, such as the production of goods, logistics and transport.  

We have worked with industrial companies to optimise supply chains, thereby reducing costs and improving operational efficiency. 

Access to funding and support 

LIMOS opens the door to public funding for your collaborative projects (ANR, Europe, region, etc.), and offers opportunities for research contracts and CIFRE agreements to hire PhD students and address your specific issues.
