The presentation will serve as an introduction to real-time systems, particularly focusing on scheduling problems. After introducing the mathematical models (real-time task models), we will briefly discuss two families of schedulers for uniprocessor systems. We will also study some properties of the Rate Monotonic algorithm for real-time system design and certification.
